Turkish Airlines
Al-Mawal Travel and Tourism Limited (MTTC) is the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Turkish Airlines in Baghdad and southern Iraq, offering passenger sales through airports in Baghdad, Basra, and Najaf.
MTTC was granted the general agency in 2001, supporting Turkish Airlines‘ expansion plans in Iraq. Turkish Airlines, headquartered in Istanbul, operates from Istanbul International Airport with a fleet of 400 aircraft, serving 315 destinations worldwide. The airline is a Star Alliance member and ranked 8th in the World’s Strongest Airline Brands (2023), up from 31st in 2022.

EgyptAir
In January 2020, MTTC signed a GSA contract with EgyptAir for Baghdad and Basra. Despite its existing association with Iraqi Airways, EgyptAir selected MTTC exclusively through a direct invitation.
MTTC manages EgyptAir sales across Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region. In July 2023, Gouri Travel and Tourism Company (GT), a subsidiary of thegteam Group, was chosen as the GSA for EgyptAir in Kurdistan. In December 2023, MTTC became the official GSA for EgyptAir across all of Iraq.

Thegteam is the exclusive GSA for AJet in Iraq, ensuring streamlined operations and ticket sales for the Turkish low-cost carrier.
Egyptian Low-Cost Carrier
Air Cairo
Rawan Baghdad Travel and Tourism Company (RTC), formerly part of thegteam, signed a GSA agreement with Air Cairo on November 26, 2020. Although Air Cairo has not yet started operations in Iraq, thegteam remains its exclusive agent in the region.

MTTC has been involved in various sales and check-in services for Iraqi Airways through its G Terminals in Baghdad. While maintaining a strong presence, MTTC has also expanded its partnerships with other international carriers.

To support and enhance relationships with partners, thegteam collaborates with VFS Global, offering visa and consular services in Baghdad and Basra for multiple countries, including Schengen nations, Saudi Arabia, and India. Our offices operate under VFS Global’s global regulations and have been active since December 5, 2018.
